Children's Museum at Holyoke Exploration Room Mural

This mural in the main meeting room in the Children's Museum at Holyoke, in Holyoke, Massachusetts, was painted by museum Junior Volunteers under my direction in my position as Junior Volunteer Coordinator. Each wall depicts the natural habitat and wildlife of one of the points of the compass: north, south, east and west. The young people involved in this project, completed in 2003, were middle-school students from Holyoke. The mural took about a year to complete.
