Ecotone: Collaborations With the Anonymous
A couple of concrete posts outside a local diner have been painted multiple times in different colors over the decades, and as the paint weathers, layers peel off to reveal the ones beneath. People pass these posts going in and out of the diner, but no one I've spoken to has ever noticed their particular qualities. For all I know, rare and beautiful Cecropia moths may alight on these posts from time to time; who would notice?
